Game Design Camps. Which one?

Let the Games Begin or RPG Game Design Camp?

Let the Games Begin! In this camp the focus is on designing 2D games, a lot like Pacman or Paper Mario. Types of games include mazes, platformers, scrolling shooters, paddle ball games and other 2D adventure games.

You will learn about the different things that go into game creation. You will design the characters, draw the backgrounds and learn about strategic game design. You will learn the very basics of ‘computer programming’ and writing expressions or scripts.

RPG Game Design Camp is game design with the emphasis on the story (Role Playing Games). In this camp you will create your own game story and plan a quest. You will have lots of opportunity to create dialogs between characters, set up many levels, towns, buildings or worlds that your characters will move through. An example of an RPG game is Everquest.
