Petite Riviere Elementary School
Artech brought its arts & technology programs to Petite Riviere Elementary School. Animated clay fish were created by Grade 2 and 3 students. These art based activities were tied in with a school wide science project, raising salmon from eggs in an aquarium and in the spring releasing them into the Petite River that runs behind the school.

South Shore Alternate School
Artech visited the South Shore Alternate School and facilitated a project with students on the topic of Global Warming. They told the story with Claymation movies.
The Hudson Bay Polar Bears and Global Warming or Polar Bears Like to Eat Too! created by Deneka, Katie and Dylan. Selected as Best of Year by CBC The Outlet for 2007!

Reconstruction of the Salt Marsh at Dr. Arthur Hines Elementary School

A model of the Salt Marsh was constructed indoors by grade 5 and 6 students. It served as a backdrop for an information display and documentary film to raise awareness about the threats to the marsh.
